Development areas and
functions of ESUEDA
It was established by Minister of
development Decree 11/1985. Work started in March 1985, with
the following
assumptions:-

Supervision of the area development plan
execution, follow up of multi disciplinary activities
(housing, utilities and various services).

Interlinking the state economic and
community planning with the regional planing of SUE
area.

Upgrading the new urban areas and bringing
out their ground, tourist or metallurgical
assets.

Awarding projects to the public and private
sector contractors, subject to the set regulation and their
relevant researches and studies.

Co-ordination with the project executive
entities, in terms of all related communications.

Control of financial aspects for financing
projects and their related calculations and proposing their
monetary budgets.

Taking handling over measures of
structures and projects, upon their completion to the
competent
authorities. |
